Oak Partners Inc. is extremely pleased to announce that effective December 1st, 2009, our Oak Partners Tax & Accounting practice has been merged by acquisition with McMahon & Associates Certified Public Accountants in Munster.
For over 30 years McMahon & Associates Certified Public Accountants have served individuals and small businesses throughout Northwest Indiana with a straight forward philosophy of providing quality customer service and solid financial advice to their clients.
It is this long history of providing quality tax and accounting service combined with the firm’s broad scope of resources and expertise that convinced the Partners of Oak Partners that by working with McMahon we could provide the level of service, advice and resources that our clients deserve.
In this regard McMahon and Associates has retained the entire full time staff and the core seasonal staff from the Oak Partners Tax and Accounting office. By retaining the Oak Partners accounting staff Oak Partners clients can be confident that the details of their tax and accounting history are being maintained and made available to both their tax and accounting professionals as well as coordinated with their investment team.
McMahon and Associates has also committed to maintaining the current client fee structure of Oak Partners Tax and Accounting. Oak Partners clients can expect stable pricing with existing services provided by McMahon and preferred pricing with additional services going forward.
In addition, the Griffith office of Oak Partners Tax and Accounting will continue to accept tax and accounting materials from clients through the 2010 tax season and Oak Partners and McMahon & Associates clients are now also able to utilize either the Oak Partners Merrillville office, or McMahon and Associates Munster office for drop-off, delivery and advisor check-up and strategy meetings. We will have an active currier service between the three offices and your teams with both firms are happy to meet you in the location that is most convenient for you.
This merger has been conceived, and will be implemented, with a total focus on enhancing the tax advice and accounting services provided to Oak Partners clients. We strongly believe that this merger will prove to be a highly positive development for our clients.
