Michael T. Barancyk joined Oak Investment Services, Inc. in 2001 as a Financial Advisor.  His primary focus is on building better client relationships through outstanding service and consistent client contact.  Mike believes that every client deserves a customized solution to his or her problems.  He was instrumental in creating Oak’s "Client Bill of Rights" and helping Oak Investment Services, Inc. evolve into the first class organization that it is today.

Mike, like most of the firm, attended Andrean High School and Purdue University.  He then joined the US Navy during the Persian Gulf War and served on the aircraft carrier USS George Washington in the Engineering Department.  After serving his country, he worked for a consulting firm and later was recruited by Fred to come to Oak Investment Services, Inc.

Mike holds FINRA Series 7 & 66 registrations and is also a Licensed Insurance Agent.  He lives in Crown Point with his wife Snezana and their three children, Nicholas, Alyssa, and Alexander.  He enjoys playing any sport and has coached his two oldest kids in every sport they have played.
